Saffire was given to the dog warden by the elderly owner who couldn't manage the dog as she grew up.
She gets on with passive dogs and is exercise play mate to Troy a male Dalmation.
She wants a home with older teenagers only where the main carer is at home all day not working.
We are a small trust. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray and unwanted dogs.
All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed and treated for fleas before their new homes are checked for a match with each individual dog.

Spike came to The Mayhew because his owners became homeless.
He is a very intelligent dog who is well-behaved, toilet
trained and can be left alone for a few hours without any
problems. Spike is nervous around strangers and may growl on
first meetings. It doesn't take him long to get to know and
trust you and he quickly forms very strong bonds. Care will
need to be taken that he doesn't become protective of his new
owners.
The Mayhew Animal Home is an animal home and humane education and training centre. Established 118 years ago, today it is one of the busiest sanctuaries in London.
