Name:

Spike

Breed/Type:

German Shepherd Dog (Alsation)

Gender:

Male

Age:

7 years

History:

Spike came to The Mayhew because his owners became homeless. He is a very intelligent dog who is well-behaved, toilet trained and can be left alone for a few hours without any problems. Spike is nervous around strangers and may growl on first meetings. It doesn't take him long to get to know and trust you and he quickly forms very strong bonds. Care will need to be taken that he doesn't become protective of his new owners.
